where the little things are made bigger

Here I go again. Really…

June4

Yes, I’m back and strengthening my resolve to have a blogging presence. I’m in the middle of a couple of projects and have ideas running every which way, from taking up running so I can run a 5k with Zach by the end of the summer to undoing the fabric wall hanging above our bed to paint it. Again.

For now, here are some of my inspirations.

The Georgians Play in Utah

March15

Tyler, Lindsey, and Riott came to visit from Georgia a little over a month ago. We started the visit with a cousin dinner at Karri’s. I pretended to play with my new camera and was able to capture Devin’s face when they came through the door since he was the only one who didn’t know they were coming. Poor Devin seemed to be increasingly sad in the weeks leading up to their visit because he is not able to see them more often, so the timing was especially great.

While they were here we played some serious Wii, gorged ourselves, played in the snow, and had fun with the two little boys. Clark (14 mo.) and Riott (8 mo.) were pretty entertaining together, Clark intrigued with Riott, and Riott just wanting to be left alone.

We also managed to get family pictures while they were here. (And sorry, our faces look funny this little.)

Meals, Maze and Munchkin in Logan

October31

Cooking for 11 hours. Ugh... Playing with Clark often kept me off task. Too cute!

Taking suggestions…

September22

Law school has a hold on my life… my friend calls me “law widow” and I appreciate the understanding. My dear hubby puts about 10 1/2 hours at school everyday before he comes home to work for 2-4 more hours. This means one thing: I need hobbies. A girl can cook and a girl can clean, but a girl needs more to keep herself as busy as her husband. While I could read, practice the viola I haven’t touched in I don’t know how long, or actually work out, I’m choosing to learn Photoshop. It can do amazing things, which means that I can do amazing things!

Pieces

June17

Welcome to my blog where I am a little hesitant to put my words in public view. Those of you who know my husband, and the witty charisma that oozes from his written or spoken words, might understand my hesitation.

The Pendleton summer is proving to be an eventful one. With law school for Zach and way too many options for me, things are coming together slowly, piece by piece at best. It is fun to make so much progress at one time, but it is a bit much to handle when it also requires a move to a town we have never lived in (Provo) with apartments we can only judge in fuzzy 2″x3″ pics.

Well, keep coming and maybe we can round up some pics that I know you, Lindsey, love.
